October 19, 2025 (Sunday): ELECTROTHERAPY IN REHABILITATION AND SPORTS MEDICINE: LATEST RESEARCH AND PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS. (8 academic hours)
Training begins (both days) at 9:00 AM. Doors open at 8:30 AM.
It is possible to attend on either day separately or on both days.
DURATION: 8-16 hours.
TRAINING TYPE: In-person training at J. Basanavičiaus St. 26-101, B NORDIC 26 Business Center, Vilnius.
The training will be conducted live in English.
PRICE:
€135 – for participation on either of the specified dates: October 18, 2025 or October 19, 2025.
€240 – for participation on both days.

The program is registered in the VASPVT Competence Platform and approved by the Institute of Hygiene.
Participants are awarded 8 or 16 clinical specialty hours for competence development in the following groups: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, orthopedic trauma surgeons, sports medicine physicians, family physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, general practice nurses.
The training is also suitable for the professional development of physical activity and sports specialists and instructors (personal trainers), high-performance sports specialists and coaches, massage therapists, trainers, movement specialists, and students of medicine and sports-related fields.

TRAINING PROGRAM:
October 6th program:
– Fundamentals of electrotherapy;
– Modern electrotherapy techniques: FES – Functional Exercise Stimulation of the Motor Nerves / TENS – Specifics of Pain Treatment;
– Electrotherapy treatment protocols;
– Practical situations of different electrotherapy methods (practical sessions).
October 8th program:
– Application of electrotherapy methods in rehabilitation and sports medicine – practical features;
– Rapid recovery of muscular and physical condition after extreme physical exertion using active electrotherapeutic methods – experience and perspectives;
– Preparation of athletes’ physical condition using electrotherapy methods;
– Electrotherapy in the process of muscle strength development, muscle strengthening and training;
– Rehabilitation of high-performance athletes.
LECTURER: prof. HEIKO VAN VLIET – licensed international electrotherapy instructor from Switzerland (Cefar Compex representative), professor at the Sports Department of Lausanne. Lecturer at the Dutch Centre for Sports and Physiotherapy Development, working with world-class athletes for over 30 years.
